Ian Abernethy recently received a prestigious award for his services to Journalism and has served the Lochaber Community well in that, and in many other roles, for many years.

The Club has recently awarded two of its members with Rotary’s highest honour—the Paul Harris Fellowship. Congratulations and very well deserved both of you.

John Hutchison is the retired Lochaber Area Manager of Highland Council and has been very active in the Community for many years including being an Honorary Sheriff and JP, work with the Isle of Eigg Heritage Trust, Chairman of the John Muir Trust and in many other ways.

They join a very prestigious group of people. The other recipients of this award have been: -
