Duncansburgh was the daughter Church of the Old Kilmallie Parish. It was established as the Garrison Church of the Fort in 1692. The present building dates from 1881. MacIntosh Memorial came into the Church of Scotland with the union of the United Free Church with the Church of Scotland in 1929.
